Troy L. Fleming is a seasoned legal investigator with over 39 years of experience specializing in accident investigations and product liability litigation. Beginning his career in North Carolina in 1986, he quickly rose to oversee investigation departments, research products for trial preparation, conduct witness interviews, and manage criminal record background checks. Troy’s investigative philosophy—“discover the mistake and then prove it exists”—has guided his work for top law firms, especially in high-stakes personal injury and wrongful death cases. He has been a consistent voice in the profession through speaking engagements with the National Association of Legal Investigators, AIEG Paralegal conferences, and other professional forums.
An active member of the National Association of Legal Investigators (NALI) since 2002 and the Inner Circle of Investigators, Troy has held leadership roles including Regional Director and Secretary. In 2016, he was honored with the AIEG Paralegal of the Year award. Through both his investigative work and his contributions to professional development, Troy continues to mentor new investigators and elevate industry standards.
