Jay Marin, CDI is the founder and CEO of Specialized Investigations Consultants (SIC), a South Florida–based investigative firm offering services across asset searches, corporate litigation support, surveillance, due diligence, executive protection, and more. A former law enforcement officer turned board-certified Criminal Defense Investigator (CDI), Jay holds a Criminal Justice Management degree and launched SIC in 2013, growing it from just three staff members to a robust team serving high-profile clients, including presidential security details and foreign embassies.
Jay is also recognized for his leadership within the investigative community. He serves as National Secretary of the National Association of Legal Investigators (NALI) for 2025–2026 and was honored as a “10-Year Legacy Member,” recognizing his longstanding contributions to the profession. Jay’s approach—balancing steady growth with deliberate client selection—has established SIC as a trusted, ethically driven, and highly capable investigative firm.
