George Gergis, CLI, CCDI, IFC is the Principal Investigator and founder of Investigative Support Unit, Inc., based in Northern Indiana since 2002. A licensed private investigator in Indiana, Illinois, Florida, and Wisconsin, he brings decades of experience in both criminal and civil investigations. His specialties include legal and corporate investigations, insurance defense, personal injury and wrongful death cases, surveillance, and fraud investigations. George has been appointed by state and federal courts to serve on criminal defense matters and is highly regarded for his investigative leadership in multidisciplinary settings.

Beyond his practice, George holds numerous professional credentials and affiliations, including Certified Legal Investigator (CLI), Certified Criminal Defense Investigator (CCDI), Insurance Fraud Certified (IFC), and Certified Forensic Interviewer. He has held leadership roles with the National Association of Legal Investigators (NALI)—as National Director (2023–2025), Assistant National Director (2018–2023), and Regional Director (2017–2018)—and was President of the Indiana Society of Professional Investigators from 2019 to 2022. George continues to influence and educate the investigative community through association leadership and published thought leadership.
