LEGAL PROGRAM MANAGER & ELECTION PROTECTION LEADER
Amy Cruice is the Legal Program Manager at the ACLU of Maryland, where she oversees case investigation, provides litigation support to attorneys, and supervises volunteers and law clerks. She also spearheads the ACLU’s Election Protection campaign during every statewide and national election, and represents the organization on the Baltimore Civilian Review Board to promote accountability and transparency in law enforcement. In addition to managing legal program operations, Amy serves as the ACLU’s public liaison on civil rights matters and works directly with communities to shift complaint-driven processes toward meaningful systemic change.
Amy began her career with the ACLU as a case investigator and community organizer on the Eastern Shore, focusing on issues of race and poverty. She holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University and was honored with the Fannie Lou Hamer Award from the Martin Luther King Jr. Committee of Anne Arundel County in 2018 for her outstanding community advocacy.
